About David

David Roos has been living and breathing street art for more than a decade. As one of the driving forces behind the creation of STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam, the world’s largest street art museum, he helped bring an underground movement into the spotlight without losing its raw energy.

Today, David remains deeply involved in this thriving art form, curating projects and managing a group of both emerging and established urban artists. He continuously seeks new ways to connect people with art. Alongside this, he runs his own street art agency, creating authentic collaborations between artists and businesses, with the artist’s voice always leading the way. 

For David, it all comes down to one belief: real connection with artists makes everything stronger:  the work, the message, and the community. He didn’t start out in art, though. With a Bachelor in Medicine and a Master of Science in Healthcare Management, David’s journey is proof that passion can take you in unexpected directions, and sometimes, onto the streets.
