These wallpapers are printed using very traditional machines employing giant cylinders. Thick high quality paper is used on which are laid fine water based inks. The bases of three of the wallpapers. i.e. Glittering Twigs, Baroque Lace and Tudor Rose have up to three coats of ink giving them a high quality unique finish.
The Glittering Twigs - Inspired by an 18th century glitter paper uses modern synthetic glitter which is placed onto a layer of specially formulated glue.
The white pattern of the Baroque Sequinned Lace is printed using two cylinders giving the wallpaper a floating effect.
The "dots" on the Tudor Rose wallpaper are composed of fine mica dust. Mica is a naturally evolved volcanic material used since the 18th century for oil lamp shades due to it's fire proof quality. I have used it because it makes the large pattern appear or disappear depending on the light, giving the wallpaper great depth and interest.
SPECIAL ORDERS - Special colour ways may be undertaken for Glittering Twigs & Vogue Regency Stripe. Please contact David Roos for details.
